We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to connect and engage with our older clients across a range of activities in our Warnervale Day Centre. This is a highly rewarding and varied role assisting our Day Centre Coordinator in delivering an exceptional experience for our clients each time they visit.

• Welcoming clients on arrival to the day centre
• Assisting in planning activities to be conducted at the day centre
• Engaging and connecting with our older clients and encouraging participation across a diverse range of activities
• Personal care including assistance with toileting clients if required

To be successful in this role you’ll need

• Have a genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
• To be comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
• Strong communication skills
• To be a reliable team player
• An understanding of workplace health and safety
• Experience with dementia (preferred but not essential)
• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
• A willingness to apply for a Police Check
