Job Details Job Location: Jawonio Inc - NEW CITY, NY 10956 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $19.00 - $19.00 Hourly As a Day Habilitation Instructor, you will work directly with our developmentally disabled adults in our facilities, supporting them in achieving greater independence, realizing their future potential, and contributing to their communities in a meaningful way by offering person-centered services. Responsibilities include: Develop and facilitate activities related to habilitation goals and interest areas formulate individualized service plans based on individual's goals Document individual's overall progress while attending day habilitation services What We Offer: Competitive pay: $19.00 per hour Morning shifts Tuition assistance, training, education and advancement opportunities Medical, dental, vision and 403(b) savings plan available for employees Located in Rockland County #IND1099 Qualifications What We Require: Bachelors degree in a related field is preferred; and two years of experience with intellectually disabled and/or physically/multiply disabled is required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) as per OPWDD experience is desirable. New York State Driver’s License required

Responsibilities

The Day Habilitation Instructor will develop and facilitate activities related to habilitation goals and formulate individualized service plans. They will also document the individual's overall progress while attending day habilitation services.
