Description The Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse (LPN or RN) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating nursing activities within a healthcare facility to ensure the provision of high-quality, patient-centered care. Schedule: Full-Time, Weekdays, Weekends, 6 AM - 6 PM Every other Weekend Primary Responsibilities and Duties Manage nursing staff by delegating tasks, providing guidance, and evaluating their performance to ensure quality care. Monitor patient care activities to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain nursing schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet patient care needs. Respond to patient concerns and complaints, addressing issues promptly and effectively. Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients. Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, making adjustments to care plans as needed to improve patient outcomes. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and risk management activities to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices. Requirements Job Requirements Current, unencumbered LPN or RN license in the state where work is performed. 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with supervisory or leadership experience. Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in nursing practices, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and collaborate with nursing staff, patients, and interdisciplinary team members. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to manage complex patient care situations and resolve conflicts. Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and manage resources effectively. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency in basic computer skills and electronic medical records management. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods during patient care activities and supervision.
