Job Type: Full-time, Days (42.75 hours per week)
Salary: £20.64 per hour + Paid Breaks, Paid Handovers & NMC PIN Renewal
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Day Nurse (RGN) to join our nursing home team in Selby. This full-time role offers the opportunity to deliver excellent, person-centred care to residents while working alongside a supportive and professional team.
As a Day Nurse, you will play a key role in maintaining clinical standards, ensuring residents’ wellbeing, and supporting the wider care team to provide safe, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care in line with individual care plans.
  • Administer medication safely and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Lead and support care staff, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and regular reviews.
  • Work in partnership with residents, families, and external healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards, health and safety, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Previous care home experience is essential.
  • Strong clinical skills and up-to-date knowledge of nursing best practices.
  • Ability to lead, support, and mentor care teams.
  • Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering person-centred care.
