What You’ll Do As a Day Porter, you’ll be the eyes and ears of the property, making sure everything looks its best: Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day Pick up trash and empty receptacles Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces Clean restrooms and high-traffic areas Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills Remove debris like stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness Report maintenance or repair needs to your supervisor Requirements ? What We’re Looking For You might be a great fit if you are: A strong communicator in English or Spanish – both written and verbal Familiar with using a mobile device (such as a cell phone or tablet) regularly for time keeping and document review Enjoys providing friendly customer service Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Comfortable working independently Physically active and enjoy being on your feet outdoors Experienced in janitorial, custodial, or porter work (preferred—but not required!)
