Description Job Summary: Responsible for assisting the residential department with quality assurance, daytime access, supplies, inventories, identifying and addressing maintenance issues. Duties/Responsibilities: Schedule is Sunday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Inspects all student dormitory rooms daily, including all common areas (lounges, laundry rooms, bathrooms, stairwells, hallways, utility rooms, and outside surrounding areas). Identifies all maintenance related problems found during daily inspections and submits written work order requests for correcting the discrepancies. Inventories cleaning, housekeeping, consumable supplies, and residential paperwork forms. Submits requisition orders for maintaining minimum stock levels. Transports residential supplies to the dormitories from the Center shipping/receiving location. Coordinates student linen exchange program with contracted service. Allows students with pre-authorization approval entry onto dormitories during the training day. Provides additional assistance, as department needs identify, in meeting the goals of the Residential Living areas. Attends required staff training sessions. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications: Minimum: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent required. Model company core values. Valid Driver’s License. Six month’s experience in education or similar field. Preferred: Possess a B.A. or B. S. Degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited college or university. One year’s experience in education or similar field. Knowledge: In order to perform the essential job functions of this position, candidate must be able to compose/write descriptive reports; use appropriate techniques to implement programmatic activities; verbally direct individuals and groups; remedy dysfunctional behavior; intervene with students; successfully complete mandated training courses.
