Yate Supplies are a family run company who provide a one stop shop to the hospitality and catering industry. Trading for over 35 years, we provide our customers with over 25,000 food packaging, janitorial and catering products. The customer is at the heart of everything we do, and we are renown in the industry for our excellent service and management of bespoke printed food and drink packaging. We send products all over the UK, mainly on our own and provide a unique service (especially in central London) by delivering our customers’ orders at night for minimal operational disruption for our end user.
We are currently recruiting for a delivery driver to join our Day Shift Team on a Permeant basis.
You will work on average 38.75 hrs per week, Monday to Friday.
Pay is dependant on licence:
B Licence - £25,086.75
C1 Licence - £28,704.00
C Licence - £29,721.25

Responsibilities

You will complete deliveries within the time allocated on the predesignated route, unloading goods at customer premises, making collections if needed and ensuring accurate completion of all relevant paperwork.
You will maintain contact with the office, ensuring any issues are communicated and resolved quickly.
You will be fully responsible for the security of your vehicle and its contents which will include customers keys. You will ensure its well maintained and respected, reporting any defects in line with Company Procedure.
You will have a good understanding of the working time regulations and drivers’ hours, ensuring you always remain compliant and drive within the law.
