Description Are you a motivated and reliable individual looking to join our team as a Forklift Operator? This vital role involves efficiently moving full pallets of products from production lines, facilitating material transport, and assisting with various operational tasks by operating a forklift. This is a day shift position, working 7am - 7:30pm on a 2-2-3 schedule. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Safely operate a forklift to maneuver full pallets of product from production lines and place them in appropriate locations in the warehouse. Aid in operations in shipping of product which may involve scanning and staging finished product for loading. Ensure production lines are consistently supplied to maintain optimal production flow. Complete end-of-shift tasks, including emptying trash hoppers and removing scrap from production areas. Ensure proper tagging of all pallets before removing from lines. Maintain and fill out a daily forklift checklist before every shift. Assist with any other operations as directed for production needs, including duties off the lift. Requirements Qualifications: Must have forklift certification and be willing to obtain specific certification requirements as needed per company policies. Adhere to all safety standards and processes and consistently follow forklift safety policies and procedures. Maintains a work pace appropriate to the workload to meet production goals. Able to walk, stand, and maneuver on uneven surfaces as needed. Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. Able to work cooperatively in a team. Must be able to understand and follow instructions with minimum Supervision.
