Responsibilities

As a Baker at Chestnut Bakery, you’ll play a central role in delivering fresh, high-quality goods each day. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Opening the bakery every morning and ensuring all ovens and equipment are prepped.
  • Monitoring ingredient quality and following precise recipes.
  • Measuring, weighing, kneading, and shaping dough to perfection.
  • Ensuring procedures for dough rising, resting, and baking are followed.
  • Baking to consistently high standards, setting timers, and monitoring cooking times.
  • Crafting new and exciting baked goods to delight our customers.
  • Packaging and arranging items for the shop’s daily opening.
  • Managing and ordering kitchen supplies to ensure seamless operations.
