We are currently seeking a responsible and caring individual to join our team as a Daycare Van Driver, who will also work in the classroom as an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Level 1).

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required:
• Alberta Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Level 1 Certification.
• Valid Class 4 Driver’s License (or willingness to obtain before employment).
• Clean Driver’s Abstract.
• Current First Aid/CPR Certification.
• Clear Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector.
• Preferred Assets:
• Previous childcare and/or driving experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, reliability, and a passion for working with children.

• Safely operate the daycare van for morning, afternoon, and school pick-ups/drop-offs.
• Ensure children’s safety and well-being during transport.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintain cleanliness.
• Support classroom activities and daily routines as an ECE Level 1.
• Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate learning activities.
• Supervise and engage children in a safe, positive, and inclusive environment.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Adhere to daycare policies, licensing regulations, and health & safety guidelines.
