OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Doggy Daycare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with dogs and a commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both dogs and staff. Experience in animal care or management is essential.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working with dogs in a daycare setting is preferred.
• An animal behaviour or management qualification is advantageous.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• A valid driving licence is beneficial for potential outings or transport needs.

• Assist in the daily care and supervision of dogs in the daycare setting.
• Support the planning and implementation of activities that promote enrichment and development.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs at all times.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues regarding dogs progress and needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the daycare environment, including toys and materials.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive atmosphere for both dogs and visitors.
