POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Educator to join our Reggio-inspired Daycare program. This role involves working with children from 12 month - 5 years, implementing play-based activities, and doing out of ratio tasks (laundry, dishes, sanitizing)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Level 1, 2, or 3 Early Childhood Educator certification (Level 3 preferred)
• Experience working with children
• Passion for early learning and child development
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Able to work independently and manage time to complete a variety of tasks.
  Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
  Pay: $16.00-$18.15 per hour

Licence/Certification:

• Level 1 or 2 childcare certificate in Alberta (required)

• Ensure laundry in the center is completed regularly
• Organize food and bring snack/lunch carts out to classrooms
• Bring carts back from classrooms and put dishes through dishwasher
• Cover in ratio when educators are out of ratio or away
• Collaborate with fellow educators to plan meaningful experiences
• Participate in outdoor play and programming
• Communicate children’s learning and play to families
