Location: Recovering Hope Treatment Center – Mora, Minnesota Position Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8:30AM-4:45PM Pay: $16.00-$21.49 per hour; based on experience Are you passionate about shaping young lives and supporting families on their journey to recovery? Join our caring team at Recovering Hope Treatment Center as a Daycare Teacher Aide! In this role, you’ll provide vital care and education for children while helping their mothers navigate recovery from substance use disorders. What You’ll Do: Lead and engage children through exciting activities and educational lessons, helping them thrive! Provide loving care during mealtimes, personal care routines, and daily interactions. Observe and document each child’s progress to ensure their emotional, social, and physical needs are met. Create a safe space by maintaining classroom safety and being a positive role model. Collaborate with parents to support their parenting journey and offer guidance on Saturdays. At least 18 years old Preferred: Experience or education in child development Physical Requirements: Frequently communicate with employees, parents, clients and other individuals with key relationships. This requires receiving and providing accurate information in writing or verbally, in these situations. Frequently lift children up to 60 lbs. from floor to waist height throughout the day. Frequently crouch to a child’s height and maintain eye contact at child’s level. Frequently sit on floor or child sized furniture. Stand tall enough to reach children on play equipment. Sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Responsibilities
The role involves leading and engaging children through educational activities while providing essential care during mealtimes and personal routines. Responsibilities also include observing and documenting child progress and maintaining a safe classroom environment.
