Join our team as a Daycare Teacher in our infant/toddler classroom! In this co-taught classroom you will design and implement play-based instruction for children, fostering growth, learning, and positive self-esteem for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years. Position Details: Full-time: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, following our daycare calendar. Competitive rate of pay: $17.50 per hour. Responsibilities Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Co-teach with another daycare teacher using the assigned curriculum. Provide high quality care and instruction to all students through fun age and developmentally appropriate activities. Maintain open communication with families, keeping them informed and supported. Collaborate and co-teach to utilize diverse techniques and perspectives in program design. Keep accurate records of children’s progress and attendance, and prepare reports for parent conferences. Attend required training sessions, ensuring compliance with OCFS regulations and program requirements. Bring your creativity, energy, and passion! Qualifications Education (one of the following): Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, or related field OR Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate Credential (ICDA) and 1 year related experience, OR 9 College credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field with a plan of study to get to Infant/Toddler CDA or Associate Degree and 2 years of experience related to caring for children. Physical Capability Ability to physically assist children to participate in the program; ability to lift up to forty (40) pounds; ability to engage in repetitive movements such as sitting/kneeling on floor, bending and stooping; ability to move quickly to attend to a running child.
