In this role, you’ll provide vital care and education for children while helping their mothers navigate recovery from substance use disorders. Create a safe space by maintaining classroom safety and being a positive role model. Collaborate with parents to support their parenting journey and offer guidance on Saturdays. You’ve completed 24 credits in a child care-related field and experience as an assistant teacher, preferred but not required. You’re able to lift children (up to 60 lbs.) and enjoy moving, playing, and connecting with kids throughout the day.
Responsibilities
The Daycare Teacher will lead and engage children through educational activities and provide essential care during routines, while also observing and documenting each child's progress to meet their developmental needs. Responsibilities include maintaining classroom safety, acting as a positive role model, and collaborating with parents to support their recovery journey.
