Our Twaddler program encourages exploration, independence, early language, and social-emotional growth through hands-on play. If you love working with young children in a daycare or preschool environment and want to be part of a collaborative, supportive team, we’d love to meet you. Key Responsibilities Create a safe, encouraging classroom for active 2-year-olds. Support play-based activities that build early learning skills, including language, motor development, and peer interaction. Assist with daily routines such as snack time, diapering/potty training, transitions, and rest periods. Maintain a clean, organized classroom that fosters exploration and curiosity. Communicate with families about daily highlights and developmental progress. Partner with co-teachers and center leadership to uphold licensing and center standards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Experience working with toddlers in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting preferred. CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus. Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP). Must meet all New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.
