Hours: Monday - Friday | Full Time Pay: $17 per hour About Us The Learning Experience – Ledgewood is looking for a warm, dependable, and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our team. In our toddler classrooms, children learn through exploration, movement, and hands-on play. If you enjoy supporting growth, independence, and early learning, you will thrive in this role. What You’ll Do Create and maintain a safe, caring, and developmentally supportive classroom environment for toddlers. Use The Learning Experience’s play-based curriculum to introduce language, early social skills, motor skills, and problem-solving. Encourage positive peer interactions and emotional development through gentle guidance and modeling. Communicate daily with families to share routines, progress, and learning moments. Work collaboratively with teaching teammates and center management to ensure classroom quality and regulatory compliance. Assist with daily care routines including snacks/meals, diapering/toileting, transitions, and rest. What You Bring Minimum 6 months of experience working with children in a childcare, daycare, preschool, or similar setting (1 year preferred). High school diploma or GED required. CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus (or willingness to pursue). Understanding of developmentally appropriate practice. CPR/First Aid preferred (or willingness to obtain). Meets New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.
