Metal-Fab Industries is one of the leading structural and miscellaneous steel fabricators and erectors in southern Alberta. We service multiple industries such as commercial, industrial, solar and some residential.
We are currently looking for DAYSHIFT AND NIGHTSHIFT Journeyman Fitters/Welders for our work shop (Nightshift-Premium for any hours worked after 8 pm)
Our shop is fully booked for at least 10 months ahead. We offer permanent, long-term employment with interesting and challenging projects, Overtime (50% premium), a great work environment and a team of organized and dedicated professionals.

REQUIREMENTS

· 3-5 years fitting experience (preferred).
· Fitters: Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings and fit beams, columns and other structural steel and miscellaneous metals based on that.
· Experience using mag drills and other power tools and hand tools.
· Have own toolbox and tools including grinder and hand tools required for fitting/welding. (Specialty tools will be supplied)
· Ability to set up welders, torches and plasma machines and be able to trouble shoot and resolve simple issues.
· Ability to work in a team environment or as an individual to complete assigned tasks.
· Ability to lift 30-50Lbs and always work safely.
