This is a remote position. Job Title: Bid Manager Type: Full Time Rate: Negotiable, starting at 10AUD/hour Purpose of Role: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Bid Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the process of winning proposals and tenders, coordinating with internal teams to develop compelling bids, managing marketing efforts to promote the company's capabilities, creating high-quality bid documents, and conducting post-bid reviews to ensure continuous improvement. Duties and Responsibilities: End-to-End Bid Management: Overseeing the entire bid lifecycle, from identifying potential opportunities to submitting the final proposal. Strategy Development: Collaborating with sales to define and execute winning strategies, ensuring that key messages and win themes are clear and compelling. Team Coordination: Managing and coordinating virtual bid teams, including representatives from sales, marketing, product, finance, and technical departments. Content Creation: Contributing to the written content of proposals, ensuring it is persuasive, high-quality, and aligned with the client's requirements. Budget and Timeline Management: Managing bid budgets and ensuring all bid activities adhere to strict timelines for on-time submission. Marketing and Communication: Developing and managing marketing collateral, which can include bid-specific materials and general marketing content. Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally. Compliance and Risk: Ensuring bids are fully compliant with client requirements, industry standards, and commercial guidelines. Performance Analysis: Monitoring bid performance, gathering feedback, and conducting post-bid reviews to identify areas for improvement. Qualifications: · Strong Project Management & Coordination: The ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines. · Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, including technical writing, editing, and proofreading. · Strategic Thinking: The ability to develop and execute strategies that align with business goals and client needs. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Adobe Creative Suite: Skills in Microsoft Office are essential, and proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is often required for document creation. · Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy is necessary for ensuring compliant and high-quality bid submissions. · Organisation: Highly organised and can manage deadlines. · Commercial Acumen: Understanding commercial aspects and profitability is crucial when reviewing bid pricing and terms. · Industry Knowledge: Experience working in a construction business in AU or NZ. · Background in Civil Engineering is preferred
