Description

Looking for a proper chef job with sociable hours?
We’re on the hunt for a creative, reliable and food-obsessed chef to join the kitchen at Hetty’s Place, our brunch and brownie café at the Food Dock in Gloucester Quays.
You’ll be working with a small, friendly team to prep and serve a seasonal menu of comfort food, brunch classics and deli-style specials. We care a lot about quality and flavour, and we’re proud to make things properly, using great ingredients and local suppliers where we can.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced kitchen, loves building a loyal customer base, and wants a role that values work-life balance.

A BIT ABOUT US

Hetty’s Place is the sister café to Hetty’s Kitchen, our small-batch bakery that started life on a kitchen table and has grown into one of Gloucestershire’s most loved local brands. From our bakery HQ to our café in Gloucester, everything we make is handmade, indulgent and big on flavour.
At Hetty’s Place, we bring that same energy into our café kitchen, turning out comforting, creative dishes and welcoming service. If you’re into seasonal menus, decent ingredients, and being part of something growing and exciting, we’d love to hear from you.
