POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Pastry Chef will be responsible for baking various items including cakes, pies, cookies, tarts, eclairs, and other goods. Will be responsible for helping with customer service responsibilities including packing orders, taking orders, making drinks, running point of sale system.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful at Lone Pine Bakery, the Pastry Chef must meet the following mental and physical qualifications.
Mental:
Two years baking or other culinary arts experience with sharp attention to detail and keen culinary sense. Must be able to follow recipes and scale baking ratios. Level headed and positive in high stress situations. Forward thinking, with the ability to work independently, and excel in a kitchen environment.
Physical:
Proficient kitchen skills and ability to work efficiently and clean. Light footed with the ability to perform in a fast pace environment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
