Our customer is a top-tier investment bank with client assets of hundreds of billion globally.
We require a senior person to be able to support the Lead Business Manager,
The Business Management Specialist (BMS) is responsible for ensuring the execution of activities from the wide range of Business Management tasks, either directly responsible for task execution or indirectly responsible via the efforts of other team members. The BMS’ responsibilities may include all or some of the following, financial planning and business forecasting, reporting output quality and performance metrics, ensuring satisfactory infrastructure and control function service level delivery and supplier sourcing and pricing negotiations. In addition, the Business Management Specialist may be responsible for analyzing the impact of changes and evaluating the corresponding changes to cost and the impact to the forecast. The Business Management Specialist is responsible for defining, implementing and continuously improving policies, processes and procedures that deliver consistent and reliable products and services.

Experience tools for Budget
and Resource planning (i.e. Workday)
Good understanding of project and program lifecycle
Good analytical and problem solving experience
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Budget Management (i.e. forecasting, Basis of Estimates, cost standards, etc.)
Data expertise using MS Excel
Data reconciliation
Ability to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members
Ability to work in virtual global teams and in matrixed organization

Responsibilities:

Supports the management procedures, to ensure the accuracy in the financial reporting and to ensure the current budget monitoring;
Provides assistance and maintains the control procedures on the portfolio/program, by engaging in issues such as resource use and change control, financial aspects and portfolio development;
Analyzes a reporting system on the portfolio.program/project, to ensure that certain key criteria contribute to the progress of the project, certain key such as costs and resources;
Identifies trends and opportunities for improvement, proposing action plans to the superiors;
Supports and maintains project management methodologies, to ensure that a correct approach to the delivered project is used, by the use of tools and project management practices;
