IBM DB2 DATABASE & DATA MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

We’re working with a major IT consulting firm partnered with a leading banking/financial services client in Montreal. This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll play a key part in managing databases, optimizing data workflows, and supporting critical migration initiatives.

TOP SKILLS REQUIRED:

• IBM DB2 database management & operations – priority skill
• Python for data management
• Snowflake
• (Nice to Have) Financial/Capital Markets experience
• (Nice to Have) Data testing & validation, migration projects, Azure

ROLE DETAILS:

• Location: Montreal, QC (3 days onsite per week)
• Duration: 6 months (potential extension)
• Industry: Banking/Financial Services

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and maintain IBM DB2 environments (primary focus)
• Develop and support Python-based data management processes
• Work with Snowflake to build and enhance data solutions
• Collaborate on data migration, validation, and testing activities
• Partner with cross-functional teams on Azure-based and other cloud data initiatives
