Description

Mission Objectives Manage, optimize, and maintain critical SQL Server environments. Ensure database availability, performance, and security. Troubleshoot complex incidents and propose technical improvements. Contribute to infrastructure evolution and support internal teams with best practices. Environment / Context Corporate environment with strong availability and performance requirements. High-criticality databases (production, pre-production, DRP). Close collaboration with infrastructure, security, and development teams. Looking for a true SQL Server expert within a competitive budget. Technical Stack / Tools SQL Server (advanced administration, optimization, monitoring). T-SQL. Performance management: indexing, maintenance plans, query tuning. SQL supervision tools: SSMS, SQL Profiler, and market-standard monitoring tools. HA/DR concepts: AlwaysOn, clustering, backup/restore strategies. Windows Server. Knowledge of SQL Server security best practices. Required Skills Proven expertise in SQL Server administration in large-scale environments. Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities. Experience in high-availability infrastructures. Ability to handle critical topics and collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams. Experience in corporate or regulated environments is a plus. Duration / Availability / Location Long mission Location: Brussels. Partial remote possible (typically 2–3 days/week depending on the organization). Start date: as soon as possible. Languages / Target Daily Rate French and English required. Dutch is a strong plus.
