Infosys is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Database Administrator (DBA) with deep expertise in Oracle, DB2 and working knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). The ideal candidate should also have hands-on experience on AWS cloud-based database services. You will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our databases across the environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Tampa, FL or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of overall IT experience.
Min 4+ years of hands-on experience as a DBA with expertise in either of Oracle and DB2 database.
Install and manage Oracle versions 11g, 12c, 18c, and 19c.
Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) and ASM (Automatic Storage Management).
Hands-on experience with AWS EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and other relevant AWS services.
Configure and manage Oracle Multi-AZ deployments for high availability and fault tolerance in AWS.
Implement and maintain Oracle Data Guard for Multi-AZ replication and failover configurations.
Proficient in Oracle RMAN for backup and recovery
Proficient in SQL Profiler, Extended Events, and DMVs
The key responsibilities in this role involves,
Manage, maintain, and monitor Oracle Server databases (including high availability, backups, performance tuning, and security).
Must have strong experience in migrating Oracle databases to the AWS Cloud Environment.
Ensure database performance, scalability, and reliability across dev/test/prod environments.
Perform database provisioning, patching, and upgrade activities.
Support and optimize PostgreSQL and MySQL deployments
Manage and monitor NoSQL databases (MongoDB, or others) for scalable app use cases.
Develop and maintain database documentation and data flow diagrams.
Collaborate with development teams for schema design, performance enhancements, and release planning.
Implement and support disaster recovery and replication strategies.
Ensure compliance with data governance, ITGC/SOX, and security policies.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL administration, NoSQL technologies like MongoDB, PowerShell is an added plus
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Fluent in English, good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
