Cytiva is currently looking for a DBS Leader within materials management to join our DBS Operations team in Uppsala. This is an on-site role reporting to the Director for DBS Operations. As DBS Leader at Cytiva, you will be the driving force for the Danaher Business System (DBS) within our materials and supply chain operations in Uppsala. You will align DBS activities with business priorities, facilitate Kaizen events, and coach associates and leaders to deliver sustainable improvements in material flow, inventory management, logistics, and supply chain performance. Key Responsibilities Facilitate the development of business plans and ensure DBS activities are aligned with materials management objectives and KPIs. Organize, facilitate, and sustain Kaizen events focused on materials flow, inventory optimization, and supply chain efficiency. Provide training and coaching to associates and leaders in DBS tools and methodologies relevant to materials management. Support effective KPI and Kaizen Funnel reviews for materials and logistics processes. Identify, develop, and execute cost reduction and process improvement initiatives in materials management. Ensure effective daily management and coach teams to identify root causes and implement countermeasures in material and supply chain processes. Develop and maintain the site’s Certified Practitioner funnel and support candidates through the process. Promote a hands-on, Gemba-based approach while maintaining a strategic perspective. Serve as the focal point for DBS in materials management and a connection to external support. Stay current on new or updated DBS materials and best practices in supply chain and logistics. Support the Senior Leadership team in leading by example on DBS activities. Leading and facilitating Kaizen events and problem-solving activities. The requirements of this job include: Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred. 3–5 years’ experience in materials management, supply chain, or operational roles. Experience in leading or participating in Kaizen events and DBS initiatives within materials or supply chain management. Certified practitioner in one or more DBS tools or equivalent methodologies. Proficient in Excel, project management, and statistics. Ability to commit to up to 10% of required business travel. Fluent in Swedish and English. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Completed DBSLO (DBS Leader Orientation) and Green Belt or Black Belt Six Sigma certification. Danaher Materials Bootcamps.
