RESPONSIBILITIES Procurement of Maintenance Contracts: Collaborate with Procurement, and DCO teams to identify maintenance needs and develop specifications for new contracts. Vendor Selection: Conduct market research to identify potential vendors, evaluate their capabilities, and select the most suitable ones. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions of maintenance contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with company standards. Contract Management: Draft, review, and approval of new maintenance contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor vendor performance against contract terms and KPIs, ensuring timely and quality service delivery. Performance management: Define clear and measurable KPIs for vendor performance, focusing on key areas such as service quality, response times, and compliance. Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or disputes with vendors promptly to minimize impact on data centre operations. Reviews: Chair monthly performance review meetings with vendors to discuss performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. Reporting: Generate and present regular reports on vendor performance to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve procurement and vendor management processes, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Market Trends: Stay informed about industry trends and developments in the Southeast Asia region to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative in its vendor management practices. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in vendor management and contract negotiation within the data centre or related industry. Understanding of data centre operations, maintenance requirements, and industry standards. Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favourable contract terms. Ability to analyse performance data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with vendors and internal stakeholders. Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple contracts and vendors simultaneously. Ability to quickly resolve issues and disputes with vendors in a professional and effective manner. Willingness to travel within the Southeast Asia region as needed to manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations. Desired Attributes: Relevant certifications in procurement, supply chain management, or contract management (e.g., CPM, CSCP, or similar). Familiarity with the business environment and regulatory landscape in Southeast Asia. Proactive and self-motivated with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
