Location & Availability : This role is based at our Distribution Centre in Bulwell, Nottingham. The position requires availability from Monday to Sunday, with a standard workweek of 40 hours. The workday starts at 6:45 AM.

THE WINNING SKILLS

• Distribution Centre Management : Experience in distribution centre management, supply chain planning, or a related role, or previous retail management experience.
• Health & Safety Compliance : Experience in DC Health & Safety compliance and handling maintenance management.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills : Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
• Operational Optimisation: Proven track record of successful customer planning and operational optimisation in a distribution environment.
• Leadership and Team Management : Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in coaching and developing staff.
• Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in Warehouse Management Service (WMS) software and tools (e.g., WMS 17 system). Microsoft Office skills.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: The ideal candidate should have a knack for problem-solving, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions.
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to share insights and recommendations with the team. The ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members is essential.
• Organisational and Time-Management Skills: The candidate should be able to manage their time efficiently, prioritise tasks, and stay organised in a fast-paced environment.
