JOB DESCRIPTION:

We’re looking for a DC Processing Manager to lead a dynamic team of Operations Supervisors in a fast-paced distribution environment. In this role, you’ll drive production excellence while championing health and safety, quality, and service standards—all with a strong focus on cost efficiency and positive associate relations. Responsibilities
  • Provides a collaborative leadership approach to a team of Operations Supervisors to deliver required production results to achieve or surpass area critical metric targets on a consistent basis
  • In conjunction with other Managers and Operations Supervisors across a seven-day a week operation, responsible for developing and implementing plans based on pre-established parameters (i.e. OPH, accuracy, turn time goals) for groups of departments, daily, weekly up to 6 to 12 months out
  • Responsible for leading production and mitigating forecast variances, and seasonal fluctuations and ensuring effective execution to established targets and production plans
  • Integrates and accurately analyses data and information to create optimal solutions and allocation of resources
  • Maintains a cross-functional mind set and encourages innovation and risk taking within the teams to continuously define production improvement efficiencies for better results
  • Builds effective collaborative relationships with internal and inter-dependent partners to achieve mutual goals
  • Ensures all health and safety and established work methods are implemented and adhered to.
  • Supports supervisors in the interpretation and utilization of Collective Bargaining Agreement to improve business flexibility while promoting positive Associate labour relations, including leading of grievance meetings, investigating Associate concerns, and maintaining working relationships with union officials.
  • Provides clear direction and ongoing support to team members by guiding daily priorities, reviewing project progress, and offering constructive feedback. Acts as a mentor and trusted resource, fostering growth through training, coaching, and knowledge sharing to ensure team success.
  • Lead strategic workforce planning by identifying talent needs, addressing skill gaps, and partnering with HR to implement development solutions. Ensure every Associate has a growth-focused plan and be responsible for the full talent review cycle to build organizational capability.
