JOB TITLE Senior Team Member (T4) REPORTS TO Assistant Supervisor (L2)   FLSA STATUS Non-Exempt SCHEDULE Flexible and Varied POSITION PURPOSE Support distribution center (DC) operations in one or more work areas. Proficient in DC related tasks such as: value added services, picking, packing, shipping, receiving and cycle counting and the demonstrated ability to be a team player.   PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES * Perform value added service (VAS) including but not limited to handling, ticketing, hanging, counting, picking and putting * Perform carton and pallet tasks including but not limited to lifting, stacking, sorting, label application, opening, erecting, sealing, counting, carrying and moving * Perform job duties according to standard operating procedures and within standard productivity measurements * Support training of seasonal employees * Serve as a resource for junior team members to clarify questions and to ensure processes are followed correctly * Proven process knowledge to solve issues and engage leadership to ensure correct action is taken when process issues are discovered * Assist in support and creation of standard operation procedures and safety policies * Inventory control system data entry * Successful performance of duties related to department measurements * Other duties as assigned   MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Characteristics/Attributes * An appreciation of Zumiez culture and the ability to integrate well * Team player, positive attitude, energetic, committed, competitive * Attention to detail * Ability to work well in a face-paced, dynamic environment * Basic understanding of English * Approachable personality * Demonstrated ability to listen and help others * Self motivated * Proven problem solving skills * Proven track record of sharing ideas to support process improvement * Positively influences team due to exceptional department specific knowledge and willingness to share and help others * Education/Experience * 5 years DC or similar experience necessary * High School diploma or equivalent preferred * Successfully passed any written or verbal exam specific to teammate's designated DC area   PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT * Ability to lift from floor to above the head, 50 lbs. frequently, and 75 lbs. occasionally, throughout work shift * Ability to use hands to handle or feel product * Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours * Must be willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, twist, and reach * Ability to work in warehouse environment with constant exposure to loud machinery * Ability to work in varied temperatures, both indoors and outdoors Qualifications JOB TITLE Senior Team Member (T4) REPORTS TO Assistant Supervisor (L2)   FLSA STATUS Non-Exempt SCHEDULE Flexible and Varied POSITION PURPOSE Support distribution center (DC) operations in one or more work areas.
