Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The 2nd Shift Production Control Coordinator will learn core planning functions with a focus on DC workload analysis and department specific management. The DC Production Control Coordinator will have an assigned focus on completing job functions that align with the DC service level agreements. The role requires accountability for monitoring specific areas / departments and ensuring they have a consistent workflow and are meeting their goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: Learn systems such as Manhattan, Dematic, Lucas / Engage, Tableau and Power BI Ensure department specific tasks are completed timely (assigning work, express tasks, etc.) Assist in the development and implementation of labor needs based on anticipated workload, daily plan, coordinating adjustments as necessary to respond to real-time operational demands. Serve as the primary contact for departments for identifying, researching, and resolving discrepancies or issues with the daily plan Identify process efficiency opportunities and propose solutions (continuous improvement ideas) Partner with Production Control team peers to ensure workflows are being attained throughout the building Communicate with IT and Facilities when necessary to resolve / mitigate issues Other duties assigned as needed Qualifications High School Diploma. At least 1-2 years clerical experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Energetic and adaptable in a fast-paced distribution environment. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to use critical thinking to proactively identify and remove obstacles preventing success. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Power Point, OneNote, Teams, SharePoint. Able to work overtime, including extra days.
