ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Must be knowledgeable of and enforce Title 31 policies. * Must be knowledgeable of and enforce Internal Controls, and policies and procedures in accordance with Tribal, State, and Federal gaming regulations. * Safeguards all cash assets while on duty. * Monitors all cash transactions and activities. * Monitors all check cashing transactions to ensure staff adheres to check cashing policy. * Monitors jackpot payouts and issues Jackpot checks to eligible winners upon request. * Trains Cage team members and assists with evaluating personnel. * Fills in as Main Bank or Cage Cashier as needed. * Regular attendance is an essential part of the position, must be very dependable. * Willing to work extra hours to ensure the department functions smoothly. * Completes paperwork legibly and correctly. * Troubleshoots technical issues with Cage equipment (e.g. Recycler, ATMS, or Kiosk). * Resolves customer and personnel disputes, and exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow employees. * Ability to use sound judgment when needed. * Performs duties as assigned by the Cage Manager, Controller, and/or General Manager.
