Job Description Summary The Digital Technology Leadership Program (DTLP) Internship at GE Aerospace is a 2 month experiential learning opportunity designed for high potential MBA students who aspire to build careers at the intersection of technology, business, and leadership. As a DTLP Intern, you will work on high impact, real world projects within GE Aerospace’s Digital Technology organization, collaborating with experts and leaders across the business. Internship assignments are structured to give you exposure to how digital technology enables safety, quality, delivery, and cost for a global aerospace leader. Job Description Site Overview Established in 2000, the John F. Welch Technology Center (JFWTC) in Bengaluru is our multidisciplinary research and engineering center. Engineers and scientists at JFWTC have contributed to hundreds of aviation patents, pioneering breakthroughs in engine technologies, advanced materials, and additive manufacturing. Roles Overview: As a DTLP Intern, you will: Work on live digital technology projects within GE Aerospace, partnering with cross‑functional teams and technical experts across locations. Contribute to initiatives in areas such as project and product management, digital transformation, data analytics and visualization, IT operations. Apply analytical, strategic, and problem‑solving skills to support business outcomes and drive measurable impact. Collaborate in a global, matrixed environment, engaging with stakeholders across functions such as engineering, supply chain, commercial, and services. Demonstrate leadership behaviors, ownership, and a learning mindset throughout the internship. Ideal Candidate: Should be enrolled in a full‑time MBA program. Minimum cumulative CGPA of 7.0/10.0 or equivalent. Required Qualification: Currently enrolled in a full‑time MBA program Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, IT Security, Informatics, Information Science/Technology, Software Engineering, Security and Risk Analysis, or other relevant STEM majors is preferred. Minimum cumulative CGPA of 7.0/10.0 or equivalent. Expected to graduate by May/June 2027. Must be geographically mobile as required by the business for the internship assignment location(s). Desired Qualification: Great communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to structure problems, analyze data, and derive insights. Demonstrated leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom; takes initiative and ownership of outcomes. Strong interest in a career in digital technology, product management, or techno- functional roles. Passion for continuous learning and staying current with technology trends, digital tools, analytics, and IT or software industry practices. Strong customer focus and ability to understand and contribute to a compelling value proposition for internal and external customers. Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and functions; builds trust, alignment, and clarity to achieve business goals. Exposure to project or program management, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management, is a plus. Innovative mindset, contributes to creative solutions, and challenges the status quo constructively. Proactively learns new tools, identifies opportunities for improvement, and promotes their adoption.
