Job Title: Deal Desk Specialist (Entry-Level) Location: Bangalore Job Type: Full-Time   Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Deal Desk Specialist to support our Sales team with quote creation, pricing validation, and contract accuracy. This entry-level role will ensure smooth deal execution by maintaining data integrity in Salesforce, aligning quotes with pricing policies, and collaborating across teams for timely processing and delivery.   Key Responsibilities: Quote & Deal Management * Assist Sales with creating and updating quotes, ensuring alignment with pricing guidelines, discounting policies, and contract terms. * Review sales contracts and order forms for accuracy, completeness, and required approvals. * Validate quotes and configurations, including SKUs, pricing, and terms, for compliance with internal policies. * Provide real-time support to Sales on deal structure and approval workflows. * Maintain accurate opportunity and quote data in Salesforce.   Order Processing, Coordination & Fulfilment * Manage the end-to-end process from quote acceptance through order submission. * Validate order readiness, including billing details, legal documentation, and PO requirements. * Collaborate with Order Management, Finance, and Legal to ensure timely booking, invoicing, and fulfillment. * Coordinate the post-booking handoff to Fulfillment and Provisioning teams to ensure ordered products, subscriptions, and services are delivered, activated, and provisioned accurately and on schedule. * Track orders through fulfillment to confirm successful delivery and resolve any holds or exceptions that could delay customer go-live. * Serve as the point of contact between Sales, Order Management, and Fulfillment to keep all parties aligned on delivery timelines, requirements, and status.   Policy Compliance & Audit Support * Enforce internal sales policies related to pricing, discounting, and contracting. * Identify and manage deal exceptions, ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained. * Support audit and reporting efforts by maintaining complete and accurate deal documentation.   Process Optimization & Cross-Functional Collaboration * Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements in the quote-to-order process. * Contribute to development and updates of Deal Desk playbooks, policies, and training resources. * Partner with Sales Ops, Legal, Finance, and Customer Success to streamline systems and workflows.   Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, operations, or related field. * Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills. * Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is preferred. * Basic understanding of sales operations, pricing models, or contract workflows is a plus. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and related business tools. * Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
