Job Title: Deal Operations Specialist Location: Leeds - UK, in office 3-4 days on average Your division: AECO - Architects, Engineers, Construction & Owners Due to the continued growth in our AECO business sector, we are recruiting an additional Deal Operations Specialist to join our existing team, where you will work with and support our UK Sales team. As one of our Deal Operations Specialists, you’ll work with our Sales team and see that new business quotes and deals are efficiently managed through our Salesforce CRM, ensuring that all deals are progressed inline with Trimble’s operating and compliance procedures. You’ll also work with other departments including operations, engineering, order management, legal, finance, and shipping to ensure seamless fulfillment of orders with current systems while identifying and working with the appropriate teams for process improvements To be successful in this position, you must be an excellent communicator who can tailor their approach to the audience. You must be comfortable managing upwards and ensuring that the correct procedures are followed at each stage of the sales cycle. What You Will Do: Taking the initiative, you will anticipate problems before they happen and advise on the best course of action for a smooth quote/deal process A light understanding of local regulations and operating standards for contractual agreements You will be responsible for following standard deal procedures, providing escalatory analytical and process support to complex, non-standard deals, reviewing contract booking submissions for accuracy and alignment to our revenue recognition policies, and facilitating approvals from the respective decision-makers What Skills & Experience You Should Bring: Ideally 2+ years of order processing and/or customer deal experience in technology/hardware/software environment Comfortable working in a rapidly changing and highly dynamic environment Bachelor's degree or higher in technical focus, Finance, Business, Marketing, or related discipline Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Google Suite, Excel, and Domo preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously Handles confidential and sensitive information and records with a high degree of discretion, diligence, and sound judgment About Trimble: Dedicated to the world’s tomorrow, Trimble is a technology company delivering solutions that enable our customers to work in new ways to measure, build, grow and move goods for a better quality of life.
