QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in an accounting role, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Effective communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately post all vehicle sales, including new and used cars, to the accounting system.
  • Verify and reconcile deal paperwork to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding vehicle sales and financing.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all transactions.
  • Collaborate with sales and finance teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
  • Provide support for audits and other financial reviews as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes
