Description

At WSECU, you’ll take the lead in managing and growing dealership relationships across your territory, which is primarily Eastern Washington (with some travel to Western Washington depending on business needs). You’re the first call dealers make when they need support, have questions, or want to grow their business with us. You’ll be out in the field building strong partnerships, solving challenges, and helping both dealers and members succeed. You’ll monitor performance, analyze trends, and keep your finger on the pulse of the market and our competitors—always staying one step ahead. If you’re a self-starter who thrives on autonomy, loves digging into data, and knows how to keep communication sharp (whether it’s by phone, email, or face-to-face), you’ll thrive in this role. This is your chance to own your market, build a strong portfolio, and make a direct impact—all while keeping things fast-paced, member-focused, and fun.

Your day might include:

  • Responsible for making recommendations to add and remove target dealers by review and analysis of market-based data
  • Presenting WSECU offerings, updates, address hurdles and challenges via a combination of routine in person visits, digital communication, and phone calls
  • Maintaining an ongoing knowledge of the market to include competition, dealer issues, program enhancements, market-specific member program offering needs
  • Training and educating dealership staff to ensure quality applications and loan documentation are received
  • Following up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity in both independent and franchise dealers
  • Dealership issues and member complaints are pursued and followed up on in the indirect and direct channels
  • Acting as a liaison between dealers and WSECU to include communication through a variety of channels with a variety of lines of business and members
  • Maintaining an awareness of all laws and regulations in regard to indirect lending and dealership requirements plus developments or trends within the credit union industry
  • Fulfilling dealership due diligence needs to include inventory checks, reporting feedback on the health of the dealers and preparing quarterly reviews

What you would bring to the team:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of dealership or consumer lending experience
  • Sales and customer service experience
  • Experience in project management, organization, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and tasks
  • Must possess a valid Washington State driver’s license and possess the ability to drive in sometimes inclement weather year round
