About The Position The Dealer Buyback Specialist will be responsible for managing the buyback process, including notices and all follow up with involved parties. Essential Responsibilities: Maintain business relationships with existing dealers. Responsible for communicating with Dealer Marketing Representatives, Branch Managers, Dealers, etc. in order to facilitate the buyback process. Conduct preliminary study to assess the buyback process by reviewing requirements and specifications to ensure they are in line with business objectives. Manage high-level projects related to buybacks, including gathering the required information, identifying deliverables, drafting reports, revising reports as needed, obtaining appropriate approvals, publishing reports and maintaining historical files. Other duties as assigned. Essential Requirements: 2+ years of experience in the auto lending industry. A background in Marketing or Collections is preferred but not required. Strong negotiation and problem solving skills. Ability to interact with customers and clients in a professional, tactful and sensitive manner. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
