We are now seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Support Specialist to join our growing Aftersales team and help deliver exceptional technical assistance across our UK and Ireland dealer network.

PERSON PROFILE

We are looking for a hands-on, technically skilled professional with strong commercial vehicle industry experience. At Harris Group, we value innovation, commitment, and service excellence. ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years’ experience in the Commercial Vehicle or Automotive industry
  • Proven success in aftersales technical support or diagnostics
  • Strong customer-first approach with a focus on quality service delivery
  • Confident communicator and team collaborator
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong IT skills and technical system literacy
  • Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and adapt to changing needs

Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To provide expert, high-quality technical support to Harris Group’s authorised dealer network, ensuring top-tier aftersales performance and strong technical collaboration across regional and global partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

This role is expected to evolve alongside Harris Group’s growth and innovation. While key responsibilities are outlined below, flexibility and adaptability are essential:

  • Provide responsive, high-quality technical support to dealer personnel across the authorised Harris Group network.
  • Deliver support and assistance with diagnostic systems and related platforms.
  • Monitor breakdown and support reports, proactively engaging dealers with technical resolutions.
  • Liaise with technical teams at Harris Group and in Europe and China to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Support dealer audits to ensure compliance with Harris Group’s Aftersales Standards.
  • Gather and communicate technical data from manufacturers, ensuring clarity and usability for the dealer network.
  • Draft and distribute service bulletins and internal communications as required.
  • Support Harris Group staff during technical visits to international partners, including travel to China.
  • Represent Harris Group at exhibitions, trade shows, and customer-facing events.
  • Ensure professional, high-standard communication across all channels and stakeholders.
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues, dealers, customers, and external partners.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider Aftersales team in the UK and Ireland.
