As an Accountant at Go Auto, you’ll work closely with the Controller and Operations team to ensure vehicle sales are accurate, complete, and properly posted. From there, you’ll expand your skills by reconciling factory receivables, warranty and floorplan schedules, commission statements, and everything else that supports a clean, healthy set of accounting records. There’s no shortage of opportunities to learn and grow!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience helps, Attitude is Everything:Whether you’re an experienced dealership accountant, working in a support role and ready to grow, or a recent accounting grad looking to break into the field, we want to hear from you. If you’ve got an accounting mind and the right attitude, we can teach the rest.
  • Excel Proficiency: Comfort with building, maintaining, and reconciling spreadsheets is a big plus. Make sure you tell us if you prefer V-Lookup or X-Lookup in your application and why!
  • Efficiency is Key:Process paperwork efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner, contributing to the seamless operation of our finance department.

Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Deals:Play a key role in dealership operations by posting vehicle deals, including new, used, wholesale, dealer trades, and fleet transactions.
  • Maintain Balance and Accuracy:Maintain clean schedules and ensure financial data is accurate and up to date.
  • Factory Program Money:Reconcile all factory program money to vehicle sales to ensure we’re paid for everything we’re entitled to.
  • Invoicing Expertise:Post vehicle invoices into CDK, ensuring all transactions are accurately captured.
  • Commission Calculations: Accurately calculate commissions to be paid.
  • Sales Support:Maintain sales-related schedules to help the team track performance and progress.
  • Financial Statements: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements through the reconciliation of various accounts, providing a clear picture of our financial performance.
  • Auditor Support:Assist in preparing fiscal year-end working papers for auditors, ensuring a smooth audit process.
