    Davis Chevrolet GMC Buick in Airdrie is looking for a highly engaged, enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Dealership Administrator. In this customer-facing role you will be responsible for completing administrative support functions for our Sales Department such as data-entry and filing, as well as providing general Reception duties.

This position is full-time with an offered wage range of $18-$22/hour depending on experience. The scheduled for this position will consist of:

  • Monday to Thursday: 10:00am to 7:00pm
  • Friday: 9:00am to 6:00pm

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to be comfortable dealing with and interacting with a variety of customers
  • A natural self-starter who takes pride and initiative in their work
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers, including proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • 1-2 years of prior administrative experience is preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers in a friendly manner and determines the nature of their visit; directing them to the correct department, notifies the appropriate person that a customer is waiting for, and introduces the customer to a salesperson
  • Answer incoming phone calls, directs caller to appropriate department or individual or takes a thorough message
  • Stock in All (New & Used) inventory and trade-ins, maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Report all (New & Used) vehicle deliveries
  • Accurately submit cheque requisitions for all New & Used buy-ins and lease buy-ins/payouts
  • Assist in completing registry requests, including CORES and Plates
  • Perform general administration and filing duties as required, including but not limited to overseeing mail, receiving and sending shipments through Purolator, updating staff extension lists, etc.
  • Performs other tasks and duties as required
