OVERVIEW: The Business & Finance Manager works directly with customers to finalize vehicle transactions in a way that delivers the optimal ownership experience both now and in the future. This role oversees and supervises all retail and lease operations of the dealership.   DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Present customers with available options in all retail and lease business transactions * Establish & maintain relationships with Finance & Insurance companies * Be involved with Sales Management in all phases, such as desking deals, closing, presentations and the Rogers Way * Be responsible for all Lease returns & paperwork * Sell financing & vehicle maintenance plans to customers * Submit paperwork to and obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals * Provide incentives and training to Salespeople on finance & insurance programs to educate staff on delivering a comprehensive ownership experience to customers * Instruct Salespeople on the positioning and value of financing through the dealership * Work with Sales Managers to secure a reasonable profit from every sale * Set up finance forecasting in conjunction with sales department forecasting to achieve a desired percent of penetration and income * Attend managers’ meetings * Maintain customer files and documentation in accordance with company and financial requirements * Prepare monthly penetration reports on finance * Track the progress for dealership Business Office * Make sure F&I is on pace for the month with finance numbers * Check all paperwork for correct title, lien information, and taxes * Carry responsibility for finance and insurance fees and their collection * Establish and meet monthly objectives QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.  Degree or commensurate experience in finance.   Excellent communication skills. Professional personal appearance. Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards. Minimum requirement of two years dealership Sales or Finance experience with 3rd party financial institutions. WORKING CONDITIONS: Will stand and move throughout the dealership facility (lot, showroom, service & parts department & offices) for most of the shift.  Evening, some holidays and weekend work hours will be required.
