Our Deals Advisory Practice helps businesses realise the potential of their mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and capital markets with a global network of industry experts coupled with data-driven insights. We are seeking an Associate level person to join us in our Strategic Capital Solutions (“SCS”) team. The SCS team covers the APAC region and specialises in structured capital advisory (e.g. private credit and structured equity fundraising solutions), and pre-emptive debt restructuring. We are a first mover in fast growing private credit space, which has expanded significantly in Asia over the last 7 years. Responsibilities: As an Associate within the team, you will work closely with senior team members from deal origination to execution of live transactions, with responsibilities including: Research and carry out business and financial analysis for assessing suitable capital structure solutions and operational / strategic optimisation Build comprehensive financial models and perform financial analysis to support client strategic decisions Craft teasers and confidential information memorandum to market fundraising deals Participate in strategic and operational brainstorming sessions with the wider PwC deals team to help create tailored solutions for clients What We Offer: A supportive and collaborative work environment. Requirements: Final year Accountancy, Business, Economics and Finance students from local and overseas universities. Excellent academic (minimum 2nd class upper) and co-curricular achievement record. Strong interest in finance, investment banking, private credit and / or private equity Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Previous internship experience or active membership in Corporate Finance or Investment Banking clubs is a plus with prior financial modelling experience. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Ability to balance work and fun and be a positive influence to the team.
