Those in deal strategy at PwC will focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. Your work will involve analysing market trends, assessing business opportunities, and developing strategic frameworks to guide clients in making informed decisions regarding their deals. You will help clients navigate complex transactions, identify potential risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to maximise value and achieve their business objectives. Working in this area, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients in formulating and executing effective strategies to optimise outcomes in their deal-making processes.

The Opportunity
As part of the Deals Transaction Services team you assist clients with strategic planning and business reviews, growth, market entry, and international expansion. As a Manager you supervise, develop, and coach teams, manage client service accounts, and drive client engagement workstreams by independently solving and analyzing complex problems to develop top-quality deliverables. You are also responsible for leveraging team strengths, managing performance to meet client expectations, and embracing technology and innovation to enhance your delivery.

What You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Economics, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Computer and Information Science
  • 5 years of experience

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Management preferred
  • Knowledge in commercial due diligence or corporate strategy
  • Understanding mergers, integrations, spin-offs, and divestiture transactions

The salary range for this position is: $100,000 - $232,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
