Off the back of strong growth, we’re looking for an experienced Associate Director to join us in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland. You’ll shape strategy, lead high-performing teams and collaborate across the firm to deliver outstanding, tech-enabled insights for our clients. Ngā kōrero mō tēnei tūranga / About the role As an Associate Director you will: Lead engagements - Oversee detailed financial analysis and due diligence engagements, reviewing earnings, working capital, and debt positions to drive informed deal decisions. Advise strategically - Partner with clients across private equity, corporate, and public sectors to structure and execute complex transactions that deliver value. Grow relationships - Build trusted connections with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and exceptional service delivery. Develop people - Lead and coach team members, fostering technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning. Drive innovation - Produce clear, insightful reports and recommendations that demonstrate strong analytical rigour and commercial understanding. Accelerate growth - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry, regulatory, and market developments to provide forward-thinking advice. Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience 6+ years in transaction services, M&A advisory or similar, with a track record of successful deal delivery. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field. CA or CFA qualification (or in progress) desirable. Strong analytical, report writing, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to translate complex findings into actionable insights. Flexibility to travel when client needs require.
