Job Summary Assist in ensuring quality classroom management and enforcing school and district policies; Focuses on student attendance and behavior; Shares general administrative responsibilities.  What you will do * Works with administration to identify activities or conditions that would lead to an unsafe or negative environment for students; Works with teachers and administration to maintain a positive learning environment * Works with administration to identify students who are consistently off-task and helps create behavioral plans for those students. * Assists with monitoring Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans. * Assists with discipline referrals. * Works with athletic coaches and club sponsors to reinforce positive student behavior (if applicable). * Works closely with Campus Supervisor(s) and/or other faculty and staff to maintain a positive environment in the hallways and cafeteria. Education Qualifications * Master's Degree in educational administration, guidance, counseling or related field Preferred Experience Qualifications * 1-3 years Teaching or leadership experience in an urban school community Required Licenses and Certifications * Teaching Certification/License Educator or Professional license issued by the TN Dept of Education Upon Hire Required * Administrator license issued by the TN Dept of Education Upon Hire Required Equivalency Starting At: $53,610.04   Salaries are determined by factors relevant to the position which may include education, experience, and other qualifications. Final compensation decisions are made at the discretion of MNPS in alignment with organizational policies and procedures. The stated salary range for certificated teaching positions is calculated based on 201 days and should be viewed as a reference. All provided salary ranges serve as a general guideline.
