Description ROLE: The Dean is responsible for many aspects of the supervision of students and building positive student/parent relationships with the school. Responsibility Supervision of Students Implement discipline policies and procedures as set forth by the LCCS Student/Parent Handbook. Oversee/facilitate the supervision of students in all locations and times other than teacher-supervised classrooms. Facilitate the entering of all discipline reports into FACTS and the accompanying reports to parents. Oversee the administration of uniform dress code policy. Assist faculty in consistently following LCCS discipline policies/procedures and in solving student discipline challenges as needed or requested. Student/Parent Relationships Build positive mentoring relationships with high school students and their parents. Counsel and mentor students with behavioral/spiritual challenges. Interface with parents in regard to student successes and challenges. Additional Responsibilities Advanced Placement Program Curriculum Trak for Grades 6-12th Canvas Support Person in charge in MS/HS Principal absence Staff & Student Parking assignments Senior lunch coordination Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s preferred. Experience in leadership and supervisory experience required.
