Community Law Service is a specialist advice provider based in Northamptonshire. The Service delivers free, independent and confidential specialist advice and casework to the public in the fields of welfare benefits, debt, fuel poverty, housing and immigration.
SALARY: CIRCA £28,119 PER ANNUM DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE
35 hours a week (Monday to Friday)
To deliver an holistic debt and energy advice casework service to low income households, including:
- Travelling to community venues in Kettering to deliver debt advice
- Providing debt casework including preparation of financial statements, negotiating with creditors and advising on appropriate debt solutions
- energy efficiency advice
- resolution to energy billing problems
- grant applications to write off debt
- resolving issues of inadequate heating or loss of supply due to cost
