Description Deburr Technician Position Description: Projects Inc. is We are seeking a meticulous and detail oriented Deburr Technician to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections from aerospace components to ensure they meet strict quality and safety standards. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity and performance of parts, contributing to the overall safety and reliability of power generation, aerospace and other components. The qualified candidate will operate deburring tools to grind, sand, clean, filing and/or polish parts to meet customer requirements and work within extremely close tolerances Responsibilities: Inspect and identify burrs, sharp edges, flash, and other surface imperfections on components. Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized deburring equipment to carefully remove burrs and smooth surfaces. Follow technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions to ensure precise deburring processes. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and environmental regulations. Document work performed, including inspection results and any issues encountered. Collaborate with quality control and manufacturing teams to address any discrepancies or defects. Assist in maintaining equipment and tools, ensuring they are in proper working condition. Adhere to all aerospace industry standards, including AS9100 regulations. Requirements Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in manufacturing or aerospace is a plus. 3+ years of previous experience in deburring or finishing aerospace or precision components preferred. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of tools and equipment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high quality standards. Physical Limitations: Lifting up to thirty-five (35) pounds Pulling, pushing, sitting, reaching, and standing for up to eight (8) + hours per day.
