COMPANY OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Deburring and Part Finishing Technician to join our production team. This role is essential in ensuring the final quality and finish of CNC-machined parts. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, experienced with hand and mechanical finishing tools, and take pride in delivering parts that meet our highest quality standards.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:

  • Previous experience in deburring, part finishing, or a similar manufacturing role is highly preferred.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools with precision and care.
  • Strong eye for detail and commitment to delivering visually and functionally perfect parts.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of handling small to medium-sized parts, and lifting up to 40 pounds as required.
  • Good verbal communication skills; must be able to speak and understand English.
  • Knowledge of safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
  • Inspect CNC-machined parts for burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections.
  • Perform deburring, polishing, and part finishing operations using hand tools, rotary tools, abrasives, and other equipment.
  • Read and interpret part drawings, blueprints, and quality specifications to ensure proper finishing requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and handle parts carefully to avoid damage.
  • Coordinate with CNC machinists and quality control to resolve part issues or finishing discrepancies.
  • Ensure all finished parts meet visual and dimensional quality standards.
  • Track and record completed work, report any non-conformances, and support continuous improvement efforts.
